Title: The Spirit of Judi (part one)

Over the past several months, as the news of a due date for the initial tests of the highly confidential experiment, called ‘The Spirit of Judi’, broke on the TV and over the internet, many agitations were held, a lot of talk shows invited prominent scientists who had acute concerns about the turn out of the experiment, and beseeched those in charge of the project to stop their work. The Twitter was overflowed by a flood of negative twits. Some said the experiment is downright dangerous. Others who had little faith in the world of science accused the claims, addressing the stability of what’s being done in the labs, to be extremely dubious. And the government was forced to enact legislation, prohibiting the experiment to go on, and or any tests to take place!

All of this controversy, which had magnified the dangers of the experiment way beyond its actual risks, resulted in an action to be taken by the scientists involved with ‘The Spirit of Judi’. After days of long discussions, they decided to publicly avow the abolition of the experiment.

On the 8th of November, the head of the project appeared on MWCH’s 9 O’clock news. “I would like to ask all agitators, concerned scientists, and all others who have worries about this project to mellow out, we have decided to stop the experiment” stated professor Maltree. “even that I believe achieving our goals would be beneficial for the human race, I would not let the reputation of my team to be tainted by continuing what’s been banned by the government.” He also talked about the history of the project which have been going on for 13 years and had just become ready to be applied using a human test subject. He also gave statistics on the investment levels of this project. But he was lying! And I cannot imagine how people were fooled by such brazen lies!

The protests, the concerns, the prohibition, all fruitless! Two days after, the initial test was carried out. What was planned to happen during the experiment was that the soul of the test subject, who would be me, Judi, would be released from the body in a conscious state. Then my soul would come in contact with spirits that have abandoned their bodies (such as those in a coma) and send signals back to my brain which then would be extracted from it by a device made to read data from the human brain, generate comprehendible images , and display them.

But that’s what was planned to happen, during the experiment, the most unanticipated happened.  My soul came into contact with species of other dimensions.

ummm i don’t get what you mean by pushing forward believable?
do you mean it flows naturally?

      acute (EXTREME) /@”kju:t/ adjective

1 If a bad situation is acute, it causes severe problems or damage:
She felt acute embarrassment/anxiety/concern at his behavior.

so, its concerns that come with a feeling of danger! maybe a sense of foreboding which also includes concerns!!
